About

I am an an educator, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, herbalist, and organizer. I focus my practice on mental wellness and radical public health. My past and current roles in providing care include an emphasis on harm reduction, trauma-informed care and health justice. I live in Portland, Oregon with too many animals and often obsess about privilege, oppression and the prison industrial complex.

If you are the sort of person who likes C.V.s, you can click here for my mostly-allopathic C.V.

All kinds of folks hire me to come teach all kinds of things for their organizations. I'm often asked to speak or teach about the physiology of trauma and oppression, or about the physiology of health disparities. But I also teach classes on herbalism, nutrition, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and addiction. Want me to come speak to your organization or school? Just email me!
